Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Marketing Functional Consultant Associate (MB-220) Practice Test & Exam Prep

The most relevant subscription limit to monitor in Dynamics 365 to manage additional costs is the total number of marketing contacts. This is crucial because marketing contacts directly impact your licensing cost. In Dynamics 365 Marketing, marketing contacts are those that you are allowed to engage and include in your marketing activities, and exceeding the allotted number can lead to extra charges on your subscription.

While monitoring the total number of inbox previews used and the total number of emails sent may be important for your overall marketing strategy and effectiveness, they do not typically have a direct relationship with subscription costs in the same way that managing marketing contacts does. Marketing contacts are foundational for understanding pricing tiers and ensuring that your organization remains within its allocated budget for marketing activities. Thus, being aware of this limit helps in preventing unexpected costs from arising due to overspending on additional contacts.
